It's amazing what you discover on YouTube. Just recently, I discovered that my little brother has become quite proficient at playing the guitar. I knew he was learning it on his own and playing around a bit on the side. Then I found out that he wrote a song and performed it as his junior high school band concert! It's called "Faithful, Wonderful Friend" and it's written by my bro Mike! I'm so proud of ya!
g'day Matt, good to see you're doing well, mnemonics notwithstanding! I don't envy you for the volume of stuff you need to get through. sorry for not replying yet to your email following your reading of my essay; I plead a swamped Inbox. Your brother's song sounds rather Jars of Clay! good on him! - a courageous thing to do. all the best with exams and finding a new asian grocery store! kn
"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." Matt 5:13-16 (NIV)
